now we're talking

There's nothing quite like:

1) A happy, cute, healthy little 13 month old boy.
2) Said boy getting a nice note written about him by his Daycare Lady, and put in his lunch box on Friday. Good boy!
3) A fresh hair cut and colour.
4) A glass of cold Lindemans, and another cold glass-ful left in the fridge for after boy is in bed.
5) getting caught up on mommy blogs and finding that a recent find and favourite has already found you, read you, and linked you as a fave read. How cool is that?
6) Making plans for a hot bath and book after boy goes to bed (yes this is an important part of my day - the part where my beloved boy is bedbound).
7) Knowing a 5 day weekend is only 4 days away.
8) In which I might see my brother from out of town.
9) striped socks.
10) melted cheddar cheese.
